Prior to managing Homestead Investments, Bill spent two years as a loan officer in Ag, Commercial, Consumer and Real Estate lending with Homestead Bank. Before his decision to move back "Home" to Cozad, Bill spent five years in the securities business working for Oppenheimer Funds in Denver, CO. Bill graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a degree in Business Management.
Bill is married to his wife Dr. Heather Wilkins D.C. and is the proud father to 3 daughters. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, traveling, outdoors activities and spending time with family and friends. He is also very active in the community of Cozad having servered on boards of Cozad United Way, Jaycees, Rotary, Cozad Chamber of Commerce and Cozad Community Scholastic Assocation. He has also served as a Cozad High School Girl Golf Assistant Coach and as well as a Cozad Junior B Baseball Coach.
